If you’re looking for a cosy atmosphere and home-cooked food, look no further than a pub. The traditional British food, served in the pubs, is not exactly known for being healthy, but it is definitely more delicious than the food from the fast food restaurants. Moreover, pub grub offers value for money and large portions!

London, The City of Rich People

London is one of the richest cities, with more than 70 billionaires. Some London billionaires live on Kensington Palace Gardens, known as Billionaire's Boulevard, the most expensive street in Britain.The other posh neighborhoods in London are Knightsbridge, West Brompton, Chelsea and City of Westminster (where actually the Queen lives).

London, In Stonehenge

Stonehenge is considered to be of the wonders of the world and the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. This massive stone monument is located on a chalky plain north of the modern-day city of Salisbury. 

The biggest of Stonehenge's stones are up to 9 meters tall and weigh 25 tons on average. Honestly, I was not impressed by this place mainly because we were not allowed to get closer and touch the stones.

London, The Picnic

Picnicking is one of the summertime activities that all British people love to partake in. With its stunning vistas and tranquil green spaces, London is unbeatable for a picnic. And one sunny day our teacher offered us to have  lesson in the nearby square.

London, Bank

The City of London, also known as The City, is London’s financial district, home to the Bank of England and The Stock Exchange. This area is extremely lively during the week, but quiet on the weekend.

Remarkably, the City also retains its medieval street pattern, which you do not find so clearly preserved in other large British city centres. There are many narrow streets, passages and courtyards between the main thoroughfares.
